Congratulations! You are about to take the first step towards applying to Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa Culinary Arts Institute. At this point, you understand the requirements and may have spoken to an Admissions Officer. You are now ready to start on your culinary journey.

How to Apply to Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa in 8 easy steps.

  1. Review Admission Requirements (see below)
  2. Complete an Online Application by clicking the 'APPLY' button on the top right (desktop); or, for mobile device users, by going to the menu icon in the top right and then selecting 'APPLY' from the list (you can also print a PDF application and email to ottawa@cordonbleu.edu)
  3. Submit the application form, resume (curriculum vitae), letter of motivation and the application fee
  4. Receive Letter of Acceptance once admitted; this letter includes: the payment schedule, accepted methods of payment and a general timeframe of when the acceptance package will arrive by mail
  5. If any documentation is missing, you will be sent a conditional letter of offer or "Admissions Proposal" pending the submission of missing documents
  6. Return the signed letter of offer within one week of the letter being received
  7. Receive acceptance package
  8. Pay remaining fees

    Admissions Requirements

    Prospective students must:

    • Have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent

              OR

    • Be 18 years of age or older on or before the start date of the programme, and pass a qualifying test (Wonderlic)
    • Students whose first language is not English may be required to provide proof of English Language Proficiency
    Application Checklist

    To complete your application package, please submit the following:

    • Application, completed and signed
    • A non-refundable $500 CAD application fee
    • The $500.00 CAD application fee is required for each individual program that you would like to register for
    • A photocopy of government issued photo I.D. or passport
    • A resume/CV (no culinary experience required)
    • Proof of English proficiency (if applicable)
    • A letter of motivation detailing your goals, aspirations, and how you think Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa will help you achieve them
    • Official Transcript showing completion of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma, or equivalent

             OR

    • Passing grade on the Wonderlic test
