Le Cordon Bleu London hosted its annual Summer Festival on Saturday 29th June 2024.
Le Cordon Bleu Summer Festival 2024 featured interactive practical workshops and tastings with Le Cordon Bleu Master Chefs and Wine experts and demonstrations from some of the biggest chefs in the industry from some of the finest high-end restaurants. There was also a Salon Gourmet Tasting Area: a food & drinks tasting space for guests to sample and purchase some fantastic products from top partner brands.
Le Cordon Bleu London's Summer Festival 2024 hosted practical workshops throughout the day, allowing attendees to get a hands-on experience cooking at Le Cordon Bleu. Culinary workshops were priced at £50 each and included festival entrance and the equipment required. In addition to this, the Wine & Beverages Tasting sessions were priced at just £30 and also include entry to the festival. Each workshop focusses on a different discipline based on the skills taught on the programmes and courses offered at Le Cordon Bleu London. If not purchasing a workshop or tasting, general admission to the festival could be purchased at a cost of £15.
Le Cordon Bleu London Summer Festival 2024 saw top guest chefs hosting demonstrations throughout the day. This year we had demonstrations from Senior Sous Chef Justine Bordet of CORD by Le Cordon Bleu, Executive Pastry Chef Michael Kwan of Dorchester Hotel, Chef Patron Tom Booton of the Dorchester Grill, Chef Patron Karim Bourgi of Kayu, Head Chef Adriana Cavita of Cavita, former Galvin at Windows Executive Chef Marc Hardiman and Le Cordon Bleu Master Bakers Stephane Gliniewicz & Douglas Bond Mollitt.
The 2023 event included demonstrations from Chef and Co-owner of Sollip Woongchul Park, Executive Chef at Park Row Alyn Williams, Executive Pastry Chef at The Connaught Nicolas Rouzaud and Head Chef at Fenchurch Restaurant, Kerth Gumbs.
Le Cordon Bleu London Summer Festival 2024 also saw the return of the Salon Gourmet Tasting Area. Guests visiting our 4th floor sampled and purchased products from some excellent brands. This year brands included Maison Louis Latour wines, Champagne Gosset, Julienne Bruno, Prosciutto di Parma, Parmigiano Reggiano and Joli.
On Saturday 29th June, guests enjoyed a truly unique dining experience for lunch and dinner. Departing from beside Le Cordon Bleu, it was the perfect addition to your time at the Le Cordon Bleu Summer Festival.
Guests aboard Bustronome’s double-decker fine dining restaurant discovered unparalleled views of London’s most iconic sights, whilst enjoying an exquisite menu crafted by Cord’s Executive Chef Karl O’Dell. A skilful and creative chef, Karl uses his unique and innovative culinary style to execute seasonal menus, reflecting the best produce and flavours available all year round.
