Explore Moroccan cuisine in this 1-day class focussed on classic dishes which are synonymous with Morocco: Zaaloukm, Khobsz, Lamb Tagine and M'hanncha.

In this class, you will learn how to make a traditional aubergine salad and a Moroccan bread, prepare and cook various vegetables and lamb shanks, as well as producing a baking an almond dessert.

  • Zaalouk: Moroccan aubergine salad (2 portions).
  • Kohbz: Traditional Moroccan bread (2 portions).
  • Lamb Shanks Tagine: served with preserved lemon and olives (2 portions).
  • M'hanncha: Crispy pastry roll with almonds, honey and orange blossom water (2 portions).

Everything you make is yours to enjoy on the day or take away with you. No prior knowledge is required for this course and it is suitable for both novices and cooks with some experience.

Class structure

Your day will be a mixture of in-kitchen demonstrations performed by the chef who is running the session and hands-on practical cookery, where you are guided by the expert teaching chef. The exact format will vary from class to class depending on the style of cuisine and length of the course.
