Le Cordon Bleu Shanghai now provide the classical 9-month Cuisine or Pastry course of Le Cordon Bleu. Students may choose to attend the courses simultaneously over a period of 9 months or separately over a period of 18 months. The Grand Diplôme - Cuisine & Pâtisserie
is awarded after the successful completion of both the Diplôme de Cuisine and the Diplôme de Pâtisserie.
Le Cordon Bleu Shanghai now provide 3-month DCM(Diploma in Culinary Management)course and 3-month Wine and Beverage course.
The classical Diplôme course is scheduled 3-4 whole days per week, including Chef Demonstration and Practical Class. Each session of Chef Demonstration lasts around 3 hours and each session of Practical Class lasts 3-4hours (according to the specific scheduling of each term).
Le Cordon Bleu Shanghai follows the same program and quality control standard with other Le Cordon Bleu campuses around the world. All chefs/instructors are designated by Le Cordon Bleu Headquarter. The diploma is officially issued by Le Cordon Bleu Headquarter.
For enrollment of Le Cordon Bleu Shanghai, students are required to be 18 years or older and have achieved the Senior High School diploma or equivalent to 11th grade.

After application, you will receive an email to confirm that Le Cordon Bleu has received your application. The usual period for application-accreditation is 4 weeks after the confirmation of receiving the application.
Le Cordon Bleu Shanghai keeps a rotation for admission for the whole year, so there’s no such date as a deadline. For the large number of applicants, we suggest that you make the application ASAP, to ensure that there’s still space for the term that you prefer.
No matter what the background or working experience, the study at all Le Cordon Bleu is required to start from the course of Basic level. If you have already achieved Basic/Intermediate certificate at any campus of Le Cordon Bleu, however, you are qualified to apply for the Intermediate/Superior course.
Class sessions are scheduled for a 3-4 days per week at Le Cordon Bleu Shanghai. If you are capable of working while taking the course, you are allowed to do that, however, please also be noted that if you happen to be absent frequently from classes due to your work, there’s a risk that you might not graduate in time.
Le Cordon Bleu Shanghai does not arrange apprentice for now, however, the school organizes Career Fairs where students can meet with representatives from international branded hotels, Michelin starred restaurants, boutique patisseries and bakeries as well as to explore a variety of career development opportunities. Career Fairs take place on a quarterly basis at the end of each Diplôme course.
