1st. Place! Our Le Cordon Bleu Mexico student, María Esther Fragoso Díaz, was the winner of the 10th Competition for the Best Cake of "La Esperanza" Pastry Shop
Our student of the Pastry & Confectionery Diploma was the fair winner of the 10th Competition for the Best Cake of "La Esperanza" Pastry Shop in the category of independent Chef and gastronomy students, making a cake based on French techniques but with a Mexican flavor.
This event was held in Salón Mexica II of the World Trade Center Mexico City (WTC) that faced dozens participants, who made a cake under different rules and regulations, and the winner will be sold in stores around 2016 plus a car for the winner, María Esther Fragoso.
Notably, this was the first year the Competition opened their doors to students of culinary schools and independent Chefs, so that the merit of our student is even greater, because there were 100 participants; 50 interns, 30 students and 20 independet Chefs, of which only 30 passed to the final.
Congratulations María Esther!!
