August 2018, Paris - Le Cordon Bleu, the world’s leading network of Culinary Arts and Hotel Management institutes, is organising a demonstration entitled « Sense of Taste » for the 2018 edition of the Fête de la Gastronomie - Goût de France, on Saturday 22nd September from 15.00 to 17.00.
For the 8th edition of this event, the chosen theme is « Taste through all its senses » focusing on all five senses, including taste, but also savoir-faire. We experience the discovery of different flavours and sensations through the transformation and the valorisation process of a raw product.
We perceive the world through our 5 senses: taste, touch, sight, hearing and smell, which are all highly complementary. However, we often forget that the art of cooking stimulates all these senses. True pleasure reveals itself when flavours, taste, texture, aesthetics and sound all merge.
With a view to sharing and enhancing produce and Taste, Le Cordon Bleu Paris invites you to experience a totally flavoursome demonstration, ending in a sampling of our Chefs’ creations.
