New year, new skills: Le Cordon Bleu Australia releases new 2025 short courses
This holiday season, Le Cordon Bleu Australia is bringing the gift of culinary excellence to budding food enthusiasts across the country.
New and returning students were celebrated with a two events, bringing both groups together to experience a touch of Adelaide nightlife and hospitality.
La Rambla, a Spanish Tapas bar located in Adelaide's trendy Peel St, was the venue for the first of three Welcome and Networking Events in honour of our new and continuing students. On Friday, 5 February 2016, our Le Cordon Bleu Adelaide Master of Business Administration (International Hotel & Restaurant Management) and Master of International Hospitality Management students, along with lecturers and Le Cordon Bleu staff, were invited to enjoy some drinks and tapas and to get to know each other in an informal setting. The event also provided an opportunity to recognise some student's successfully completing their first year with a presentation of the Le Cordon Bleu Silver Pin.
The second of the Welcome and Networking Events was for our Bachelor students, and was held at The Gallery in Waymouth St. This venue is a 3 storey Licensed Art Gallery, which provides a fantastic ambience and space for functions. This event is slightly more formal than the previous with the presentation of Bronze Pins, Silver Pins, Meritorious Awards, the Diplome Culinaire D'Hotelier Award, and the Career Services Awards. Once the formalities were over, guests were encouraged to mingle whilst enjoying a drink and some canapes.
The third and final Welcome and Networking Event to take place is for our Culinary students and will be taking place back at La Rambla on Friday 4 March, 2016.
Students and staff alike always have a great time at these events, which have proven to be a lot of fun!
