Le Cordon Bleu has now released the stunning Confectionery School book in English.
Alta cocina en tu mesa consists of 45 recipes by Le Cordon Bleu, to learn to cook at home with the techniques explained by our highly trained chefs.
The book approaches professional haute cuisine in a practical and real way. The publication includes 45 dishes with step-by-step photographs and more than 30 essential techniques. All of this backed up with a complete glossary of cooking terms.
The small format of the book makes it easy to handle, and it will easily become a reference in the reader’s kitchen. First published in Spain, the book is now available in bookstores in Mexico.
Learn as you cook
The book is a simple roadmap for the reader to manage to train their instincts. Visual and very pedagogical, Alta cocina en tu mesa aims to ensure that readers take their cooking to another level, and even if they attempt a dish and fail, they come back to try again.
The goal is to have fun and learn as you cook. The book offers recipes with different difficulties so that improvement is constant.
The book followd the same approach used in Le Cordon Bleu professional programmes which are taught at its institutes around the world. Enjoy!
