Alumni feature in Michelin Guide 2025

London

Le Cordon Bleu London were delighted to see a list of deserving restaurants added to the 2025 Michelin Guide for Great Britain and Ireland, including Le Cordon Bleu alumni.

Twenty-six restaurants received new ratings for this year. Amongst them is a one Michelin-star rating for AngloThai, a restaurant by Le Cordon Bleu Dusit alumnus, John Chantarasak, which he opened in November 2024. John is co-founder of the restaurant where he serves food inspired by his dual Thai-British heritage, working alongside his wife who takes care of front of house and wine.

Another restaurant celebrating inclusion in this year’s guide is Mambow, by Le Cordon Bleu London alumna Abby Lee. Abby opened Mambow shortly before the pandemic, having to close and relocate before finally opening a permanent space in late 2023, and has now been awarded with a Bib Gourmand.

In addition to our alumni, we are pleased to congratulate our friend and Le Cordon Bleu Scholarship judge, Emily Roux. Emily and husband Diego Ferrari were awarded their first Michelin-star for Caractère, the restaurant they own together located in the heart of Notting Hill.

Congratulations to all new Michelin-star rated restaurants in the UK and beyond.
