This month we share the inspiring success story of Manbhavya Gupta – a proud graduate of Le Cordon Bleu’s Master of International Hospitality Management degree – who has already made an incredible impact on the global hospitality scene. Graduating in 2020, Manbhavya’s journey exemplifies the power of hard work, passion and world-class education.
Manbhavya’s passion for the hospitality industry began at a young age.
Growing up in India, he was deeply influenced by his father’s work in the hotel and restaurant business.
“I’ve seen my father working tirelessly day in and day out to run his hotel and restaurant business,” he recalls.
“Watching him, I knew this is where I belong.”
Family vacations at five-star hotels only deepened his fascination with the industry’s glamour.
“Those experiences made me fall in love with the hospitality world… I knew from then on that this was the career path I would choose.”
It was during his undergraduate studies that Manbhavya first heard about Le Cordon Bleu.

Reflecting on his time at Le Cordon Bleu, Manbhavya points to three things that made the experience unforgettable: diversification, culture and knowledge.

In addition to the academic rigor, Manbhavya credits Le Cordon Bleu with shaping his strategic thinking and focus.
“The program challenged me to think critically and strategically,” he says.
“It helped me develop the focus needed to succeed in this industry.
“Le Cordon Bleu prepared me for the fast-paced and ever-evolving world of hospitality.”
After completing his Master’s degree, Manbhavya landed a role at Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets, an IHG Hotel, where he continues to excel.
“Every subject I studied, from finance to marketing to leadership, has played a part in my growth and success,” he says.
“The learning at Le Cordon Bleu gave me the tools to thrive in the hospitality industry, and I continue to apply that knowledge every day.”
Manbhavya is now paving the way as Hotel Indigo Adelaide Markets’ Operations Manager.
He says the most rewarding aspect of his job is the people he interacts with – both guests and colleagues.
“What I love most about the hospitality industry is the people. It’s mesmerising how every day is different, and you get to meet guests from all walks of life.”
