Le Cordon Bleu Australia Alumni Dale Burton

As a company director and consultant, Dale Burton demonstrates entrepreneurial flair and business acumen on a daily basis. The high-achiever graduated top of her class in the Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism, taking out the highly prized Dux award.

Her work has taken her around the world, most recently as a management agent/ executive assistant on the international sporting circuit.

Her extensive international travels have given her insight into food trends and influences globally.

Now back in Sydney, she looks to take her career to a new level.

She has been involved in a number of notable food-related projects and events in Australia and says she relishes the buzz.

In 2015, as project manager for a start-up street food company, she was responsible for menu development, brand positioning strategy and culinary staff training from inception through to rollout and operation.

In 2016, she assisted the food curator of MONA (Tasmania’s Museum of Old and New Art) to prepare the creative brief for the Winter Feast, a food and wine event held during the avant-guard Dark Mofo art and cultural festival. She also had an operational role in the Feast, which attracted more than 60000 people over 5 days.

She is currently working with Event Project, as part of the creative team, designing unique food and wine themed festivals for key clients in Sydney and Melbourne.

She enjoys updating her knowledge about everything gastronomic while hosting food safari tours through some of Sydney’s iconic ‘foodie’ suburbs.

She created and executed Tennis with a Twist, an event targeting 17 to 35 year olds, and designed to change the public perception of, and encourage participation in social tennis.

I look forward to the next opportunity to provide event solutions for clients, primarily food-related companies, delivering innovative ideas that enable them to grow and realise their business goals.
