Le Cordon Bleu Brazil institute celebrates a significant achievement with the nomination of its book, "Brazilian Gastronomy – From Tradition to Fusion Cuisine," for the prestigious 2024 Gastronomy Awards. The work, which presents a contemporary reinterpretation of Brazil's rich culinary diversity, is competing in the Best Book category, one of the most coveted honors in the gastronomic industry, promoted by Prazeres da Mesa magazine.
Published by Alaúde, the book is the result of extensive research conducted by Le Cordon Bleu chefs and instructors in Brazil. It offers a detailed journey through the history and gastronomic culture of each region of the country, highlighting both classic recipes and culinary innovations. With 80 recipes divided into four chapters - appetizers, main courses, desserts, and beverages - the book combines tradition and modernity, reflecting the diversity of ingredients and techniques that characterize Brazilian cuisine.
The nomination for the 2024 Gastronomy Awards by Prazeres da Mesa magazine reinforces the recognition of the quality and relevance of the work in the national culinary scene. The book is praised for its technical, creative, and accessible approach, making it a reference for both professionals and beginner cooks.
The awards ceremony, which brings together the leading names in Brazilian gastronomy, will take place later this year. Le Cordon Bleu's nomination reflects the institute's excellence in promoting and innovating culinary arts, reaffirming its commitment to valuing Brazilian gastronomy.
