Le Cordon Bleu Madrid opens the doors of its classrooms to celebrate an afternoon of cooking with Autismo España, organized by ChefsForChildren.
Le Cordon Bleu Madrid opened the doors of its classrooms to fill them with colorful balloons, where children with autism enjoyed an afternoon of cooking with renowned chefs. In this sixth edition, ChefsForChildren collaborated with Autismo España, a statewide confederation that brings together more than 180 organizations that provide specialized services to autistic people and their families.
Under the slogan "Eating healthy is fun", ChefsForChildren brought together at Le Cordon Bleu renowned chefs such as Mario Sandoval, Paco Roncero, Iván Cerdeño, Mario Cachinero, Hugo Muñoz, Óscar Molina and Óscar Velasco, who prepared a recipe of fresh pasta with meatballs in tomato sauce. The children followed with curiosity the instructions of the chefs, enjoying while cooking and combining the food with skill.
The General Manager of Le Cordon Bleu Madrid, Rosario Barrios, as hostess of this endearing activity, expressed that: "Cooking is a powerful tool in many ways. On the one hand, it can attract the attention of many, and that is wonderful when it is at the service of a cause such as Autism Spain; on the other hand, it is a perfect setting for children and families to live a fun experience and to learn how to take care of themselves by eating better. Being part of this initiative is a challenge and a gift for the whole team".
