Beat the Price Increase
Le Cordon Bleu London will be raising the prices of all diploma programmes on Sunday 1st December 2024 as part of the annual price rise.
Tackling food waste is so important for Le Cordon Bleu and the wider hospitality industry, so to have the opportunity to work with City Harvest on ensuring that any surplus food is used to aid those in need rather than going to landfill is a wonderful initiative.
By choosing to donate surplus food to City Harvest, Le Cordon Bleu London has nourished thousands of people across London experiencing food poverty. The production kitchen team at Le Cordon Bleu London do excellent work donating the left-over food from classes to the charitable organization and have put an efficient system in place to ensure no food is wasted. Over the course of 2021, the donations from Le Cordon Bleu London equate to 5.82 tonnes of food donated to City Harvest, 13,878 meals delivered to charities feeding their communities and 22.15 tonnes of Co2 emissions prevented by rescuing food for human consumption.
City Harvest is a surplus food redistribution charity, putting surplus food to good use in a sustainable way by distributing it, for free, to 350+ charities, food banks, schools and community groups across every London borough that feed the growing number of people facing food poverty. Charity groups who benefit from donations to City Harvest include The Soup Kitchen London and Wand UK.
