London Term 4 Graduation 2024
On Friday 13th December, Le Cordon Bleu London welcomed graduates to a ceremony held in the beautiful surroundings of the Ballroom at The Dorchester, Park ...
Cord will host the pop-up on Monday 3rd July and is excited to announce the participation of guest chefs, husband-and-wife team Woongchul Park and Bomee Ki, whose restaurant Sollip near London Bridge received a Michelin star in 2022. Woongchul and Bomee will bring to Cord a marriage of European and Korean cuisine that combines their cultural heritage and culinary training. The couple met at Le Cordon Bleu London as students, where Chef Woongchul is a Diplôme de Cuisine alumnus and Chef Bomee a Diplôme de Pâtisserie alumna.
They have designed an experience at Sollip that truly represents their culinary philosophy, combining their love for Korean food culture and passion for French cuisine. Their dishes are elevated interpretations of their favourite European classics combining Korean spices and ingredients, whilst balancing traditional cooking techniques from home and modern western culinary skills. The name Sollip translates to pine needle in Korean, which is understood to be one of the most effective natural ingredients to ignite smoke and flames in Korean cooking. An ode to traditional Korean cooking as it is the main inspiration behind the concept at Sollip.
