2020 Culinary Arts graduation ceremony: a digital event due to extraordinary circumstances

The Culinary Arts graduation ceremony (Grand Diplôme, Cuisine Diploma, Pastry Diploma and Boulangerie Diploma) took place on Friday 25 September 2020 at the Cercle de l’Union Interalliée.

The unprecedented health crisis, which we are all currently facing in France, left Le Cordon Bleu Paris with no choice but to change its traditional ceremony. Rather than cancelling or postponing the event, a new way in which to celebrate was decided upon. The event, which students, their family and friends greatly look forward to, was broadcast live so that the ceremony could be followed in real time.

On this special day, Le Cordon Bleu was honoured to welcome class patrons including: Mickaël Marsollier, pastry Chef at Maison Pierre Hermé and Julien Duboué, chef, restaurant owner and entrepreneur.

“Continue to be daring, curious, attentive, make mistakes and take risks. You will benefit as you will learn from your mistakes.”
Mickaël Marsollier

The graduation ceremony symbolises the students’ success and commitment to the culinary arts. Le Cordon Bleu Paris congratulates every one of them for what they have achieved and wishes them continued success in their future projects. Good luck to all those who are continuing their journey with an internship or work experience!
