Cyclone Gabrielle has devastated the North Islands Hawke's Bay region, leaving many families without homes. Bridges have crumbled and other essential infrastructure has been destroyed. New Zealand is a tight knit community, and the entire country has gathered to support our friends and family that have been affected.

Le Cordon Bleu New Zealand’s Chef Sam Heeney conceived of a bake sale fundraiser as a way to assist recovery teams and help our wellington community come together in support. The response was overwhelming, with 100s of people expressing an interest in purchasing and contributing to the fundraiser. Donating goods is challenging due to logistics so we are sending all proceeds to the New Zealand Red Cross Disaster Fund. 

Our students and Chefs are delighted to be able to help at this time of need, they are preparing for Friday 3^rd and Saturday 4^th of March where donators will be able to collect their box of authentic French viennoiserie.
