If you are looking to take your hospitality career to the next level, Le Cordon Bleu Australia's Bachelor of Business in International Hotel Management or Restaurant Management can open new doors to exciting paths. Here are five fun facts about these two, highly sought-after undergraduate programs, available at our Adelaide and Sydney campuses.
Undertake not one, but two Work Integrated Learning placements
The best way to learn is by a combination of theory and practical. Both the Hotel Management and Restaurant Management programs allow you to undertake two placements of up to six months in your first and second year. The best part? You can choose from thousands of industry partners across our global network!
Learn a diverse range of topics
During these programs, you don’t just learn the basics of running a hotel or restaurant. Students get to deep dive into a range of fun and engaging subjects including wine fundamentals, where they’ll get to explore grape growing, production and wine tasting in the context of food and beverage service.
Surprising career outcomes await
With our Hotel Management and Restaurant Management programs, the career outcomes aren’t limited to hotel or restaurant manager. You’ll be equipped with all the tools and knowledge to take on diverse roles such as event manager, catering manager, food and beverage manager, sales and marketing manager, HR manager and even a sommelier.
Studied VET with us? Take advantage of credited units
The backbone of Le Cordon Bleu Australia is, of course, its culinary arts and sciences degrees. But did you know studying higher education allows those who have completed a Cert III, IV or Advanced Diploma to take advantage of an accelerated program? Cert III graduates receive 2 units and Cert IV receive 4 units as academic credit. If you’ve completed an Advanced Diploma, you’ll receive credit for 12 units which is up to 50% off your bachelor’s degree.
Your study load can be flexible
International students are required to study the three-year program full-time, but if you live locally, a part-time option is available. This means you won’t need to compromise on your work-life balance and can still maintain employment while working toward your hospitality dream.
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Le Cordon Bleu's Adelaide and Sydney campuses are now taking applications for the next intakes in May.
