December 17th saw our final and by far biggest graduation ceremony for 2015. Over 230 students, guests and family members joined us for a few hours of celebrations, speeches, selfies! Along with a few tears of joy and a few tears of sadness, as some of our students said their goodbye’s and embarked on their culinary journeys.
It was an afternoon to celebrate the success of our culinary students, our Diploma in Professional Culinary Management graduates and the first cohorts of our Bachelor of Hospitality Management. All in all 34 students graduated with either their Diplome de Cuisine or Diplome de Patisserie, four students with their Diploma in Professional Culinary Management and two very distinguished Bachelor of Hospitality Management graduates completed their studies at the school.
We were delighted to have our Ambassador, Robert Oliver speak at the ceremony, imparting words of wisdom and some sage advice for all our graduating students and also inspiring our basic and Intermediate students who returned to their studies in January.
The afternoon concluded with some Champagne and Canapés back at the school, where more photographs were taken, more stories narrated and plenty of hugs and “au revoirs” were said. A fine way to finish 2015…
