Beat the Price Increase
Le Cordon Bleu London will be raising the prices of all diploma programmes on Sunday 1st December 2024 as part of the annual price rise.
Le Cordon Bleu are the sponsors of the Great British Cookbook this year which launched at the beginning of this month and has already been named as one of the best cookbooks of 2016!
This month saw the exciting launch of, The Great British Cookbook which features 200 culinary masterpieces from top chefs in the UK’s most prestigious Michelin-starred and AA Rosette hotels, restaurants, guest houses and pubs.
The second edition of the highly anticipated book contains recipes that use locally sourced produce from ten different regions in Great Britain, and includes entrees from notable chefs such as James Martin, Levi Roots, Le Cordon Bleu Alumna, Rachel Khoo and of course, Le Cordon Bleu London with our ‘Fruit Macaroon Crown with rosewater infused fruits and lychee cream’ recipe. All of the proceeds from the cookbook will be donated to both Macmillan Cancer Support and Hospitality Action.
With Le Cordon Bleu being the official sponsors of The Great British Cookbook, it was only fitting that the book’s exclusive launch was held at our state-of-the-art school on Bloomsbury Square. Guests included those featured in the book, such as Michael Caines MBE who is one of Britain’s most acclaimed chefs. On arrival the guests were treated to a selection of beautiful canapes, lovingly created by our Teaching Chefs.
Since its release on the 3rd of October, The Great British Cookbook has already entered the Top 11 New Cookbooks of 2016! Praised for its celebration of Britain’s ‘diverse culinary heritage,’ and its reflection of the UK’s ‘multicultural society,’ the cookbook is sure to inspire culinary creativity in all that reads it.
