Le Cordon Bleu Dusit in collaboration with Thai Roong Ruang Sugar Group, jointly organized the “SWEET CARE & SHARE No. 6 – KIDS CAN BAKE” charity activity in aid of underprivileged children in the New Life Project for Girls at the Duang Prateep Foundation on Saturday 24 March 2018.
This is the first of Le Cordon Bleu’s 2018 CSR aimed at improving the foundation children’s lives by promoting health and well-being, and by using cooking workshops to influence sustainable development, the children are able to replicate the recipes and techniques taught to produce products to sell at the local community market not only to learn about self-sustainability but also in order to earn extra income to support the needs of the foundation.
The recipes for cupcakes, decorations, and Thai jelly were sincerely prepared and made by our Le Cordon Bleu Dusit Chef Instructors, staff, students and alumni. There were more than 60 children at the foundation, and the day of games, activities and especially the workshops by our chefs brought laughter, smiles and much enjoyment to all the volunteers. Le Cordon Bleu Dusit is grateful for the overwhelming response to our CSR initiative through the outpouring of donations and volunteers, thank would like to thank everyone for their kindness and generosity.
