Fundraising High Tea Event

Students from our Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Business Programme, as a part of their Volume and External Catering Course, prepared a Mother’s Day High Tea fundraiser for our friends at Kaibosh Food Rescue.

Kaibosh is New Zealand’s first food rescue organisation based in Wellington, they partner with food producers and suppliers to obtain surplus and other food times that don’t make it to shelves. They then organise and distribute food to charities throughout the Wellington region.

This year was special due to Kaibosh’s new Petone location, which is equipped with its own kitchen. Our students were able to design, organise, and run a fantastic high tea event in celebration of Mother’s Day. Bringing increased exposure to Kaibosh and all they do.

We look forward once again partnering with Kaibosh next year for another unforgettable experience.
