Le Cordon Bleu Madrid celebrates Michelin stars
Last Tuesday 28th was a day of great celebrations for Spanish gastronomy. Our alumni and second classified in the IX Edition of the Premio Promesas de la alta cocina, Daniel Silvestre, obtained his first Michelin star in NM, a restaurant that Nacho Manzano opened in Oviedo and whose kitchen is directed by the young Daniel.
Daniel Silvestre was trained at the CIFP Hospitality and Tourism of Gijón and although he is Andalusian, he opted for Asturias to advance in his training as a chef. After several experiences in renowned restaurants, whilst his first year at Casa Marcial, he "stood out", says Manzano, highlighting the "innate temper and maturity of someone who manages all the codes". A young chef with talent, taste, and sensitivity.
At Le Cordon Bleu Madrid, after being ranked 2nd in the Premio Promesas de la alta cocina, Daniel studied the Cooking Programs, obtaining excellent results. From the Institute, we give him our most sincere congratulations and wish him a successful career.
