Le Cordon Bleu’s Master Chefs will be hosting cooking demonstrations and workshops at the Bloom 2019, a health and lifestyle festival taking place at the London Olympia on Friday 5th to Sunday 7th July 2019. Our demonstrations and workshops will be based on savoury plant-based, nutrition and sweet pâtisserie skills and techniques.
The Bloom Show encompasses all aspects of better lifestyle choices and life solutions. Through knowledge of health and wellness, nutritional food and drink that promotes a heathier life.
Plant-based & Nutrition Cuisine Workshops
Covering the fundamental culinary skills taught in our Diploma in Plant-based Culinary Arts and Diploma in Gastronomy, Nutrition & Food Trends, the practical workshops will see you learn innovative recipes that produce cuisine suitable for plant-based, vegetarian and vegan diets.
You will gain an awareness of the nutritional value of the ingredients used, perfect for those who have an interest in health and wellness.
Red quinoa salad with golden raisins, peach and tarragon vinaigrette
A colourful multi textured salad made of soft quinoa, celery, cucumber and cherry tomatoes served with sweet golden raisins, crispy puffed quinoa and a fruity peach and tarragon dressing.
All practical workshops cost £10 per ticket. The Plant-Based & Nutrition Cuisine Workshops are as outlined below:

Pâtisserie Workshops
These practical workshops cover essential techniques and creative skills in pastry and baking, to craft delicious dishes to the highest standards. It teaches you a variety of skills and techniques from our professional trained Pastry Chefs.
Pineapple and yoghurt tartlets
Sable crust, pineapple brunoise encased in passion fruit confit, topped with fresh fruits and dots of zesty lime yoghurt cream.
All practical workshops cost £10 per ticket. The Pâtisserie workshops are as outlined below:

Plant-based and Nutrition Demonstrations
Our demonstrations cover culinary skills and techniques from our Diploma in Plant-based Culinary Arts and Diploma in Gastronomy, Nutrition & Food Trends. This will provide creative and trend-driven recipes using nutritional, plant-based sources for ingredients to create vibrant and sustainable dishes. This is based on the principles of nutrition for a healthy, varied diet.
All demonstrations are free to attend at the Bloom Show. The Plant-based and Nutrition demonstrations will feature:
Kohlrabi and sorrel ravioli, spiced carrot emulsion, pine nut crumble
Marinated kohlrabi slices filled with its own puree flavoured with refreshing sorrel leaves served with a sweet spiced carrot juice.

Pâtisserie Demonstrations
Our pâtisserie demonstrations showcase the essential techniques and skills in pastry and baking taught in our Diplôme de Pâtisserie.
All demonstrations are free with entry to the Bloom Show. The Pâtisserie demonstrations will cover:
Apple Tart Tatin
Compressed apple, linzer base, blown sugar apple and monzana foam.
