Le Cordon Bleu shines at Good Food & Wine Show

Le Cordon Bleu Good Food and Wine Show

Le Cordon Bleu shone at the recent Melbourne Good Food and Wine Show showcasing our students’ patisserie skills with a selection of gorgeous French Tarts at our stall promoting our world-class culinary arts programmes and range of gourmet short courses.

The Good Food and Wine Show is one of the largest and most popular food and wine events on the Melbourne calendar with around 29,000 people visiting during the 3-day event.

Visitors lined up to purchase the Le Cordon Bleu sweet treats which included two different flavoured French tarts in short crust pastry, one featuring chocolate ganache and the other mandarin curd, both garnished with a hand-made mocha marshmallow, a chocolate wafer cigar, white popping chocolate balls, edible 24 carat gold leaf and slivers of strawberry or raspberry ‘leather’ leaf, dusted with icing sugar. Many guests photographed the tarts before eagerly consuming them.

Le Cordon Bleu Melbourne Patisserie students were on hand to assemble the tarts, with passers-by intrigued at the amount of work that goes into creating a delicacy that is consumed in just two bites!

Good Food and Wine Show proved an excellent platform to promote the Le Cordon Bleu range of gourmet short courses, with many visitors expressing interest now only in our short culinary-themed workshops, but also in our full-time culinary arts programmes. Visitors to the stand were also impressed with the variety of LCB-branded merchandise that was available for sale with the recently published English language edition of the Le Cordon Bleu Pastry School recipe book of particular interest.

Le Cordon Bleu is exhibiting at the Sydney Good Food and Wine Show on 21-23 June.
