We are offering the chance to win a place on our most prestigious programme, the Grand Diplôme® with Internship Pathway, alongside accommodation for a year from Londonist, mentoring from Michel Roux and Chris Galvin and a stay at the Savoy.
We are searching for some of the country’s most passionate culinary enthusiasts – regardless of age, location or background – to give them the chance to follow their dreams and aspirations.
The winner will be awarded a place on the nine-month Grand Diplôme®. Following completion of the diploma, the Scholarship winner will go on to take part in a three-month internship at Cord restaurant.
Le Cordon Bleu Scholarship has some fantastic partners including Michel Roux, Chris Galvin and Galvin Restaurants, Londonist, Phaidon, The Savoy and Louis Latour. As part of their prize, the winner will receive mentoring from Michel Roux and Chris Galvin, 12 months accommodation from Londonist during their studies, an overnight stay at the Savoy and prizes from Louis Latour and Phaidon.
Celebrating our 130th anniversary this year we've allocated even more prizes, with second runner-up receiving a place on our Basic Cuisine or Basic Patisserie 3-month programme, and third runner-up a place on our Summer Essentials course. Both runners-ups will also receive a 2-week internship at Cord restaurant and special prizes from The Savoy, Louis Latour and Phaidon.
The competition will take place in three stages, the first round online, the semi-final in the form of an in person interview, and the final will take place at Le Cordon Bleu London, where finalists will be tasked with a culinary challenge.
