MasterChef Brazil 2019 Awards Winners with Le Cordon Bleu Scholarships in Paris and Ottawa!
Technical-academic director, chef Patrick Martin, presented the awards to Rodrigo and Lorena.
Last Sunday, August 25 of 2019, Brazil watched an exciting final of MasterChef Brazil amateurs! Finalists Rodrigo and Lorena had to create a complete menu (starter, main course and dessert) and judges Erick Jacquin, Paola Carosella and Henrique Fogaça had the difficult task of choosing the winner.
As a starter, Rodrigo made a prawn-stuffed shrimp-broth ravioli, the main course was a sweet and sour pork belly with beans, and the dessert was a sesame-shelled coconut and ginger ice cream. This menu gave Rodrigo the MasterChef 2019 trophy! Our technical-academic director Patrick Martin awarded Rodrigo with the basic certificate in cuisine or pâtisserie at Le Cordon Bleu Paris! What a dream! Lorena also made an amazing menu “Trip through Piauí” which contained a cold agar ravioli, lamb with green beans, honey crumble with coconut ice cream and pineapple in cachaça. The 34-year-old nurse won a basic certificate at Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa, Canada! Congratulations for this achievement!
And more, the other participants won a Gourmet and Short Courses at Le Cordon Bleu Brazil!
We wish all contestants to continue their studies and achieve a successful career in the world of gastronomy!
We are waiting for you, Rodrigo and Lorena! Good luck!
