Le Cordon Bleu Paris is proud to announce it will be taking part in the first-ever PâtissArt Fair, which will be hosted by the city of Deauville from October 26th to 28th. The patron of this inaugural edition will be the talented Nina Métayer, a leading light in the contemporary pastry world.
Packed with over one hundred stands, the
PâtissArt Fair promises to be an absolute must for any pastry enthusiast, amateur or professional. Visitors will have the opportunity to attend an eclectic selection of events, ranging from technical demonstrations led by illustrious chefs to immersive workshops that invite absolutely everyone to roll their sleeves up and get involved. Panel discussions bringing together pastry experts and enthusiasts will also offer an insight into the sector’s latest trends and hottest innovations. Last but not least, a one-of-a-kind exhibition will showcase some spectacular pastry creations.
Le Cordon Bleu Paris will welcome visitors at stand A09 to present its training programmes and activities in detail, as well as its range of workshops held in its new premises at the Hôtel de la Marine. Some of the institute’s students will also be on hand to chat with visitors, share their experiences and answer any questions, giving everyone a unique opportunity to dip into the world of culinary excellence by discovering all the exciting opportunities this prestigious institution offers.
Renowned for his pastry expertise, Chef Lecoq will showcase his skills by treating visitors to a live culinary demonstration in the PâtissLive zone from 3pm to 3.45pm on Monday 28th. He will be demonstrating a recipe specially created for the occasion: the chocolate bar. This traditional yet innovative recipe is a true celebration of French expertise in the art of working with chocolate, giving visitors a golden opportunity to admire and appreciate the Chef's technical prowess and creativity as he deftly turns the simplest of ingredients into gastronomic works of art. Visitors will not only be able to glean inspiration from the Chef’s expert techniques, but will also be invited to sample his finished dish.
