Le Cordon Bleu Scholarship 2025

London

Le Cordon Bleu London are delighted to announce this year’s exciting Le Cordon Bleu Scholarship competition.

In celebration of our 130th anniversary, Le Cordon Bleu are offering an even bigger prize pot this year. This will include the chance to win a place on our most prestigious programme, the Grand Diplôme® with Internship Pathway, alongside accommodation for a year, mentoring from Michel Roux and Chris Galvin, a stay at the Savoy and much more.

We are searching for some of the country’s most passionate culinary enthusiasts – regardless of age, location or background. Applications will officially open on 28th March 2025, inviting ambitious individuals with a love for gastronomy to compete for a life-changing opportunity to study at Le Cordon Bleu London.

To honour Le Cordon Bleu’s 130-year history, the 2025 scholarship competition will offer an expanded prize package that surpasses previous years. The winner will receive prizes worth over £90,000, including a full scholarship to study the prestigious Grand Diplôme®, three-month internship at CORD Restaurant, mentoring from industry leaders, including celebrated chefs such as Michel Roux Jr. and Chris Galvin, 12 months of accommodation in London, and an overnight stay at The Savoy. For the first time, two runners-up will also receive prizes, extending Le Cordon Bleu’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of culinary talent.

On his mentoring role in Le Cordon Bleu Scholarship, Michel Roux mentioned: ‘I am delighted to be a part of the Le Cordon Bleu Scholarship and help nurture the culinary talent of the future. The competition offers a life-changing opportunity for an aspiring chef to gain valuable training and industry experience, and a secure foothold on the first step of their career in hospitality.

Each year, Le Cordon Bleu London’s scholarship competition attracts some of the UK’s most promising aspiring chefs. In 2024, 19-year-old Caoimhe O’Neill-McGuinness from Eastbourne was announced the winner after an intense final challenge at Le Cordon Bleu London.

Reflecting on her win, Caoimhe shared: ‘This scholarship has honestly been life changing. I wake up with an excitement for life and knowing that I will be learning from the top chefs really motivates me to try my absolute hardest. My passion for cooking has grown even more and I’ve met so many inspiring people along the way. If you have the chance to apply, I wouldn’t give it a second thought and just go for it.

The competition will take place in three stages, the first round online, the semi-final in the form of an interview, and the final will feature a culinary challenge.

Once applications are open, you can submit your entry and find out more about the Scholarship including our fantastic partners via our Scholarship page.
