Le Cordon Bleu Peru has been awarded the title of best cooking school in Peru by the Premios Somos. “Somos” magazine held the second edition of its gastronomic awards this year and announced the winners of over 40 categories celebrating the best chefs, restaurants and other businesses in Peru. This year reached a new record with more than 51 thousand voters. The winners were annoucned at the ceremony, which took place at the Pedro de Osma Museum, in Barranco.

The prestigious title of Best Cooking School in Peru was awarded to Le Cordon Bleu, recognizing the institute’s commitment to academic excellence and the training of world-class professionals. At Le Cordon Bleu Peru, we not only focus on teaching cutting-edge culinary techniques, but we also celebrate and promote the rich Peruvian gastronomic tradition.

This prestigious recognition is a testament to the hard work, passion and dedication of our entire educational community, students, teachers and collaborators at the insitute. Thanks to their constant effort and our commitment to excellence, over these 25 years we have managed to stand out in the national and international culinary field.

All of this effort is consolidated by the fact that a large number of our Le Cordon Bleu Alumni were also nominated in various categories of these prestigious awards, and several of them awarded the winning titles. Their individual successes are a clear example of the quality and commitment that characterize our institution. Thank you for trusting us and being part of our success!

• Virgilio Martinez, Le Cordon Bleu London Alumnus, was honoured with 2 awards (best male chef and best authored cuisine at his Central Restaurant) and
• Juan Manuel Umbert, Le Cordon Bleu Canada Alumnus, won best Italian Cuisine restaurant.
