New year, new skills: Le Cordon Bleu Australia releases new 2025 short courses
This holiday season, Le Cordon Bleu Australia is bringing the gift of culinary excellence to budding food enthusiasts across the country.
Le Cordon Bleu participated recently (12-15 November) at Taste of Melbourne - a food and wine event now in its eighth year - held outdoors on the banks of Melbourne’s Albert Park Lake. The event featured over 50 food and liquor outlets and service providers related to the food industry. Among the restaurants present was Pastuso whose chef, Alejandro Saravia, is an alumnus of Le Cordon Bleu Peru.
Visitors were invited to graze through their dream menu designed from a selection of over 50 tasting dishes created by Melbourne’s latest, greatest and hottest restaurants. There were also a host of exciting masterclasses where guests were able to test their culinary skills.
Taste of Melbourne operated much like a restaurant; holding 2 sessions per day to represent Lunch and Dinner. A ‘Taste Session’ lasted for 4-5 hours to give time for people to enjoy their pick of restaurant dishes, browse the artisan stalls, and enjoy some of the many attractions and relax to live entertainment.
Le Cordon Bleu was present to promote our Melbourne campus, the culinary arts programs offered and our on-line Le Cordon Bleu Master of Gastronomic Tourism degree.
