July 2019 - On July 20, the Chinese TV channel Zhejiang broadcasted an episode of the famous series "青春 环 游记" (Qing chun huan you ji), which was in part shot at Le Cordon Bleu Paris institute and included the institute’s Chef Instructors sharing their French know-how.
This reality show consists of 12 episodes of 80 minutes each and has an audience of more than 150 million viewers.
The series combines comedy with suspense and tells a story in the form of challenges and games, played by famous Chinese actors. The programme aims to reinforce cultural exchanges and customs of China’s different regions and to highlight them. It is is the first time the show has been filmed abroad and this episode, recorded mainly in Paris, presents the emblematic sites of the city and its major tourist attractions.
Special guests and Chinese actors: Wang Kai, Lin Yun, Wu Jinyan, Bai Yu, Duan Mei Yang, Sha Yi, Song Ming Rui, and Yang travelled to Paris. The Chefs of Le Cordon Bleu Paris institute: Éric Briffard, Fabrice Danniel, Alexandra Didier, Marc Vaca, Guillaume Siegler, Laurent Bichon and Vincent Valton were also present and accompanied by assistants and students.
