Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Business Academic Merit Scholarship


Le Cordon Bleu New Zealand invites applications for the Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Business Scholarships for International Students each worth a discount of 15% over the last two years of study.

Who is Eligible?

  1. All international students are welcome to apply.
  2. Must be over the age of 17 at course commence.
  3. Current or past Le Cordon Bleu New Zealand students are not eligible for this scholarship.
  4. Applicants must provide Academic IELTS 6.0 with no sub-score under 5.5, or other English proficiency entry test result required as listed here.
  5. Applications must have met the standard for New Zealand university degree entry requirements.
  6. The BCAB scholarship is specifically intended for academic merit and is exclusively applicable to students in their second and third years of study. To be eligible in the second year, a student is required to maintain a 80% score average throughout their first year. This criterion also applies to the third year.

  3. Evidence that you have met the standard for New Zealand university degree entry requirements.
  4. A copy of your Passport or Birth Certificate.
  5. CV and statement of purpose are required.

About Bachelor of Culinary Arts & Business Degree

The Bachelor of Culinary Arts and Business Degree will prepare graduate students to enter and manage world-class hospitality and culinary businesses in a globally competitive environment. This innovative degree programme focuses on developing knowledge and appreciation of fine food and beverage in a ‘farm to plate’ context, and how this is successfully applied in a range of business management oriented hospitality settings. Students will learn business skills, hotel and restaurant management, wine education, as well as practical cookery, pastry and confectionery skills. This course ensures that students are 100% ready to enter the hospitality industry.
