Programme details

  • Teaching methods

Our teachers are internationally renowned experts who have worked in leading businesses and in close collaboration with prestigious winemakers. Classes are taught in French and translated into English by a specialist wine translator, to ensure the best possible experience for all participants.

Under the guidance of our Head Sommelier, teacher and Wine Programme Coordinator at Le Cordon Bleu Paris institute, the wines tasted are carefully selected to offer a unique sensory experience. The training programmes take place in an exceptional setting at Le Cordon Bleu Paris institute, in a tasting room designed to replicate the atmosphere of a wine cellar and equipped in partnership with Riedel glassware.

Each participant leaves with full programme materials on all the topics covered during the training programme.

  • Assessment methods

As this is a non-certifying programme, there is no formal end-of-programme assessment. However, a blind tasting and a discussion session to validate knowledge will take place at the end of the programme.

A Le Cordon Bleu institute certificate of participation is awarded to all participants at the end of the programme.
