Wine courses range from initiation to expertise through the art of tasting, food and wine pairing, the fundamentals of oenology, the different grape varieties, the science of winemaking and fermentation or vineyard management, and also visits to vineyards in the region.

Which wine programme to choose?

Diploma

The Wine & Management diploma is perfect for anyone wishing to enter the world of wines and spirits to become a sommelier, open a wine bar, become a brand ambassador, move into wine and spirits purchasing, etc. This full-time programme provides in-depth knowledge of the world of wine through theory and practical training.

The 10-to-12-month programme is divided into two parts:
  • During the first 6 months, students follow a theoretical and practical wine programme. The programme includes learning about French and European wine-growing regions, tastings, theory and practice in food and wine pairing, lectures on wines and spirits and educational trips to France's leading vineyards to gain a better understanding of working with vines and the issues involved. Project management and creation are also covered. This part of the programme includes classes in marketing, logistics, finance and entrepreneurship and is particularly interesting for students who want to become entrepreneurs or work in wine sales.
  • Students will then embark on a 4–6-month internship in a partner company.

Discovery/Advanced Workshops

This training programme is aimed at amateurs, professionals and culinary arts students, providing the skills needed to understand and embrace the world of wine with an informed eye and discerning taste buds.

In 2 weeks, students are introduced to tasting techniques and develop their knowledge of wine. The emphasis is on rapidly developing both the palate and knowledge, whether the aim is to become a professional in the world of wine or to learn the basics for personal pleasure.
