Course Description:
During The Taste of Le Cordon Bleu Patisserie course, you will learn elementary patisserie skills under the guidance of our Patisserie Chef. You will also gain valuable insight into the true Le Cordon Bleu New Zealand educational experience.
The Taste of Le Cordon Bleu Patisserie course will cover the following:
- Dough making
- Anglaise / curd
- Glazing
- Chocolate tempering
- Cooked sugar
- Food Hygiene
First, you will watch the Chef demonstrate recipes and techniques in detail in one of our state-of-the-art demonstration theatres. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and take notes during this time. You will then be tasked with replicating the same recipes in our practical kitchen. This teaching format and environment is identical to that of our longer culinary programmes, making this course an ideal choice for prospective patisserie students as it allows them to experience Le Cordon Bleu first-hand and help them to make an informed decision.
Course Includes: All ingredients, cooking equipment and teaching resources are provided in our practical kitchens for your use on the day. Everything you create during the course is yours to take home.
