The Loire Valley is France's third-largest wine region, largely classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The vineyards stretch for 800 km along the Loire River and are divided into four major zones: Pays Nantais, Anjou Saumur, Touraine, and Centre. This allows Loire vineyards to offer a wide variety of products, from lively and dry white wines to top quality sweet wines, light and fruity reds, to wines with concentration and velvety texture. All of this is made possible through the use of grape varieties like Chenin, Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc.
